IMPORTANT: BY USING THE SITE AND/OR SERVICES YOU GIVE YOUR CONSENT THAT ALL PERSONAL DATA THAT YOU SUBMIT MAY BE PROCESSED BY US IN THE MANNER AND FOR THE PURPOSES DESCRIBED BELOW. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, DO NOT USE THE SITE OR SERVICES.
In order to better provide you with our Services, we collect two types of information about our users: Personally Identifiable Information ("PII") and Aggregate Information, or Non-PII.
Personally Identifiable Information: PII refers to information that lets us know the specifics of who you are. When you engage in certain activities on this Site or App, such as registering for an Account, downloading or purchasing a product or service, submitting content, or sending us Feedback, we may ask you to provide certain information about yourself.
Examples of PII may include your first and last name, email address, mailing address (including zip code), telephone and facsimile numbers, and other identifying information. When purchasing products or services on the Site, you may be asked to provide a credit card number or PayPal account information.
Aggregate Information or Non-PII: Non-PII refers to information that does not by itself identify a specific individual. We gather certain information about you based upon pages you visit on our Site and what other sites may have directed you to us. This information, which is collected in a variety of different ways, is compiled and analyzed on both a personal and an aggregated basis.
Examples of Non-PII may include: Username, photos on your user profile, the Web site's Uniform Resource Locator ("URL") that points to the site you just came from, which URL you go to after visiting our Site, what browser you are using, and your Internet Protocol ("IP") address which may also indicate your geographic location.
Collection and Use of PII
Our primary goals in collecting information are to provide and improve our Services, to administer your use of the Services (including your Account, if you are an Account holder), and to enable you to enjoy and easily navigate our Services. Though not comprehensive, below are some examples of the types of PII we may collect and how we may use it.
How We Collect and Use Information
We do not collect any PII about you unless you voluntarily provide it to us. However, you may be required to provide certain PII to us when you elect to use our Services. These may include: (a) registering for an Account; (b) entering a GroupQueue game or Sweepstakes; (c) sending us an email message; (d) submitting a form or transmitting other information by telephone or letter; or (e) submitting your credit card or other payment information. When processing certain information, such as payment information with affiliated banking institutions or payment processors, we encrypt the transaction, using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology, in order to prevent your PII from being stolen or intercepted. Additionally, your credit card, or other payment information is never stored on our servers.
How We Use Your PII
We also use PII to help us develop, deliver, and improve our Services. From time to time, we may use your PII to send important notices, such as communications about purchases and changes to our Terms and Conditions of Use, Privacy Policies, and Official Rules of Play.
Collection and Use of Non-PII
We may also collect certain Aggregate, or Non-PII Information.
We may collect, use, transfer, and disclose non-PII for any purpose. We may collect information such as language, zip code, area code, unique device identifier, location, and the time zone where the Services are used so that we can better improve our Services.
As an example, we may use your IP address to diagnose problems with our servers and software, to administer our Site, and to gather demographic information.
If we do combine Non-PII with PII, the combined information will be treated as PII for as long as it remains combined.
Disclosure to Third Parties
At times GroupQueue may make certain PII available to strategic partners that work with GroupQueue to provide products and services, or that help GroupQueue market to customers. For example, when you make a purchase of GroupQueue Guesses, you authorize GroupQueue and its third party payment processor to exchange the payment information you provide to us to carry out your purchase. PII will only be shared by GroupQueue to provide or improve our Services; it will not be shared with third parties for that third party’s marketing purposes.
GroupQueue shares PII with companies who provide services such as hosting, information processing, extending credit, fulfilling customer orders, delivering products and services to you, managing and enhancing customer data, providing customer service, assessing your interest in our products and services, and conducting customer research or satisfaction surveys.
Protection of PII
GroupQueue takes precautions - including administrative, technical, and physical measures - to safeguard your PII against loss, theft, and misuse, as well as against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. When you use GroupQueue Apps or post on a chat room, or social networking service, the PII you share is visible to other users and can be read, collected, or used by those users and perhaps be made public. You are responsible for the PII you choose to submit in these instances. For example, if you list your name and email address in a forum or social media posting, that information is public. Social networking services have privacy setting options out of GroupQueue’s control. Please take care when using features such as signing in through or associating your GroupQueue Account with any social media account.
Integrity and Retention of PII
Access to and Updating PII
Access by you to your PII is available through a password and username selected by you. This password is encrypted. We recommend that you do not divulge your password to anyone.
So that we may best serve you, you are responsible for ensuring that all PII you provide on this Site is maintained and kept current. We encourage you to promptly update your PII if it changes. You may ask to have the information on your Account deleted or removed; however, some information, such as past transactions, logs of technical support calls, or other information may not be deleted. In addition, it may be impossible to completely delete your information without some residual information because of backups.
For other PII, we make good faith efforts to provide you with access to such PII so you can request that we correct or delete the PII we have about you. We may decline to process requests that are unreasonably repetitive, require disproportionate technical effort, jeopardize the privacy of others, are extremely impractical, or for which access is not otherwise required by local law. Access, correction, or deletion requests can be made by contacting GroupQueue at email@example.com
Children are prohibited from using GroupQueue Services. Only individuals who have reached the latter of the age of majority or 18 years old may lawfully access our Site and App. Moreover, in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, we do not knowingly collect PII from children and especially no one under the age of 13. If we learn that we have collected the PII of a child under 13, we will take steps to delete the information as soon as possible. We may take additional actions to ban children from using the GroupQueue Services.
Our Companywide Commitment to Your Privacy
We will take reasonable measures to protect the information that we collect from or about you (including your PII) from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Please be aware, however, that no method of transmitting information over the Internet or storing information is completely secure. Accordingly, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of any information.
